After graduating from university in 1991, I took a sabbatical to work as a volunter for a charity. That experience turned into a nine-year career successively as co-founder of an international aid organization (called The Serious Road Trip or TSRT), then head of mission for TSRT during the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina and finally founder/director of TSRT's French branch, TSRT-CHF.
In 2000, I went on to study translation at ESIT (École Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs) in Paris. I graduated with another Master's degree and almost immediately afterwards, in November 2003, found a job as an in-house translator in Glasgow, Scotland, with one of the world’s leading intellectual property attorney firms, Murgitroyd & Company.
In December 2005, I went completely freelance (I had been translating as a freelancer part-time since May 2002) and now have over 15 years of experience in technical and legal translation. I work on a regular basis for a number of clients ranging from intellectual property firms to international organizations such as OECD, FIFA and UCI, without forgetting individuals on a case by case basis.
The services I offer include translation and revision work from English, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Italian and Spanish into French. Reaching the highest possible degree of satisfaction with my clients is of utmost importance to me. So is the ambition to continuously improve, both as a translator/reviser and as a business partner. I therefore leave no stone unturned, at every stage of the translation/revision process and more generally in my approach of the job, to meet those aims.
So feel free to get in touch with me for a question, a quote, a piece of advice… or just to say hello :-)
